From Andrea

Ok so since the blog didn't work last night and Mrs. McCarty gave a shorter version of what we did today we (All 8 of us) are going to give you a more detailed and a more exciting version of what today consisted of.  First we woke up bright and early and walked two miles to the village where we painted.  We had to carry all of our supplies including our easels! The walk was pleasant except for when we passed a group of angry bulls on a farm.  When we made eye contact they started to grunt...So we ran away. Finally we arrived and started painting.  It was so windy that Emily's canvas fell into her paint... :[ After our field trip was done we came back for lunch.  It was sea food day. Carleigh, Corie, and Emily all tried  RAW oysters.  After lunch we relaxed for 4 amazing hours, except Ashlyn, who painted for 4 hours straight. Now we are all hanging out downstairs and we are about to watch a movie. (Taken)-"Taxis here are so expensive... Want to share?" More to come later! All the girls say "I love you mom and dad and family!!!"

  3. As much as Ashlyn loves her sleep... I'm so glad you are getting in some good quality painting time. I can only imagine how gorgeous your surroundings must be to paint in. I'm sure the "French" seafood was delicious and I hope you are taking notes on your favorite French foods so you can cook us all a fabulous French dinner when you get home:) I love hearing from you girls, Its the highlight of my day! Send us more pictures when you can....XXXOOO, Mom

  4. Yeaaaaaa!! Andrea, So glad to see you blogging (you know how I dislike typing). I thought I told you no eye contact, especially with bulls! lol, you are too funny, I so miss you, you can not even imagine....but I am enjoying seeing you experience this adventure! I can't wait to see your paintings, I know they are wonderful! Did you eat RAW oysters? You know, I would skip that, but Dad would love them. Dad said to tell you that when he went to work out at the BRC everyone there ask how you were and to tell you hello. No mention of shifts, no other calls from Kathy L. either. Andrew is moving tomorrow (Saturday, June 27)...by the time you get home he will have his place all fixed up for you to see. The monkey tree will seem very empty this coming week. Ariann asked today when you will be home, she is missing you, Shah and the meows miss you too. Say hello to all the girls, Emily, sorry about the wind and Andrea watch out for those bulls and strangers wanting to share! xoxos, I love you :), Mom, Dad, Andrew, Ariann
